May 2023 marks a momentous milestone for us as we celebrate our 10th year anniversary. Since our founding in 2013, it has been an incredible journey, and we are thrilled to commemorate this special occasion with all of you who have been an integral part of our success. Over the past decade, we are proud to have played a part in pivotal milestones in the logistics industry and helped to shape the future of eCommerce delivery and supply chain management.

This month, we are proud to share our financial results for fiscal year ended March 31, 2023. Revenue from Cainiao after inter-segment elimination, was US$8,108 million in fiscal year 2023, an increase of 21% compared to the year before. This growth can be attributed to the service model upgrade since late 2021 whereby Cainiao took on more responsibilities throughout the logistics process to better serve customers and enhance customer experience, as well as the increase in revenue from international fulfillment solution services. In the quarter ended March 31, 2023, 72% of Cainiao’s total revenue was generated from external customers.?

We are honored to be the only logistics company ranked among the top 10 companies in Hurun Research Institute’s Global Unicorn Index 2023, with an estimated valuation of US$27 billion. We are also thrilled to be awarded the ‘Best Warehouse Management Systems Company’ at LogiSYM Awards 2023.

On partnerships, we are thrilled to extend our partnership with Saudia Cargo, with the signing of a new 12-month "space and service commitment" agreement. This entail the reservation of exclusively selected Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) freighter flights from Hong Kong to Riyadh and Liege.

Cainiao Announces Q4 FY23 Financial Results with 15% YoY Growth

Alibaba Group Holding Limited announced its financial results for the quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2023. Revenue from Cainiao after inter-segment elimination, was US$8,108 million in fiscal year 2023, an increase of 21% compared to the year before. In Q4, 72% of Cainiao’s total revenue was generated from external customers.

Cainiao Ranks Top 10 in Hurun Report’s Global Unicorn Index 2023

Alongside global companies like ByteDance, Shein, and Telegram, Cainiao ranked 10th place on Hurun Research Institute’s Global Unicorn Index 2023. Cainiao is the only logistics company to be placed in the top 10 list this year, with an estimated valuation of US$27 billion, a US$8 billion increase from the company’s pre-pandemic valuation.

Cainiao Clinches ‘Best WMS Company’ at LogiSYM Awards 2023

Cainiao is this year’s winner of the LogiSYM award 2023 for the category ‘Best Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Company’. This category recognizes the company that is involved in offering WMS solutions and helping to deliver superior warehouse performance.

Cainiao and Saudia Cargo Extends Partnership with New Space and Service Commitment Agreement

To meet the rising demand for eCommerce in the Middle East and Europe, Cainiao entered its second partnership with Saudia Cargo, with the signing of a new 12-month "space and service commitment" agreement.

The agreement reserves exclusively selected Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) freighter flights from Hong Kong to Riyadh and Liege. This expanded partnership further demonstrates Cainiao’s commitment to form distinguished partnerships in the logistics sector?that supports the fast-growing eCommerce market.
