Cainiao Enhances Cross-Border Delivery Initiatives to Ensure Timely Shipments for the Spring Festival

During the upcoming Spring Festival, we will be intensifying cross-border delivery efforts, focusing on our air and sea freight operations to safeguard deliveries throughout the festive season.

In addition to the deployment of 500 chartered planes and pallets globally, our intelligent flight scheduling system and customs clearance processes will ensure smooth parcel processing at over 100 domestic and international ports.

Cainiao and AliExpress Launch Shenzhen-Mexico City Charter Flight Route

In collaboration with AliExpress, we officially launched the first-ever charter flight from Shenzhen to Mexico City, streamlining cross-border logistics to cater to the surging order volumes on AliExpress in Mexico.

Upon landing, unloading, pickup, and pallet dismantling can be completed within 6 hours, and customs clearance within 24 hours. Mexican consumers can look forward to receiving their cross-border parcels within 10 days.

Cainiao Deepens Strategic Collaboration with AliExpress to Safeguard Spring Festival Deliveries

In view of the fast-approaching Spring Festival this year, we announced our collaboration with AliExpress, introducing several initiatives to enhance the fulfilment process for customers.

With this partnership, AliExpress merchants can now proactively stock up at Cainiao preferred warehouses, with orders automatically and seamlessly dispatched through the platform.

During this year’s Spring Festival stocking period, we witnessed a remarkable 600% year-on-year (YoY) growth in stocking volume at Cainiao preferred warehouses compared to the previous year.

Cainiao Launches 'One-Click Pickup' Service in Hong Kong

To improve pickup efficiency and minimize human errors in package handling, we launched a "One-Click Pickup" service in December through our app, offering over 50 self-pickup points across Hong Kong.

This initiative signifies our continued commitment to streamlining logistics processes for greater customer convenience in Hong Kong.

Cainiao and McDonald’s China Partner on RFID Chips, Driving Supply Chain Efficiencies

We partnered with McDonald’s China to improve supply chain efficiencies by leveraging RFID and other technologies.

Through this partnership, McDonald’s China will deploy our RFID technology in its supply chain with built-in tags on food packages, allowing the fast-food restaurant to track products from factories to its outlets.

In a trial project, our RFID technology reduced the time needed for daily stocktaking from 1 hour to 15 minutes for restaurants while improving the accuracy of inventory data by 30%.

Cainiao Deepens Partnership with Moutai Logistics to Enhance Omni-channel Supply Chains

To drive greater capabilities across end-to-end omnichannel supply chain offerings, we expanded our partnership with Moutai Logistics.

Beyond leveraging both companies’ resources and capabilities to augment domestic, international, online and offline omnichannel supply chains, the partnership will also advance green carbon reduction initiatives and emergency logistics.

Cainiao and China National Apparel Technology & Innovation Institute Jointly Release Report on RFID Applications in FMCG

Jointly developed by Cainiao and the China National Apparel Technology & Innovation Institute, the report details the various facets of RFID application in the FMCG industry.

In addition to spotlighting changes brought about by RFID technologies in enhancing supply chain management, the report provides an overview of the RFID market, trends and challenges in the FMCG industry, RFID applications in the apparel and food industries, and more.
