This month, we are pleased to spotlight several milestones arising from our commitment to upgrade our logistics offerings and digitally transform the sector.

First up, we are proud to share that Cainiao’s user base in Hong Kong exceeded 2.6 million, indicating that an average of one in three Hong Kong residents use Cainiao’s services for their eCommerce logistics needs. In July, we also witnessed double-digit year-on-year growth in order volume in Hong Kong, underscoring the sustained demand for efficient logistics services.

To meet the needs of an ever-expanding eCommerce industry, we unveiled a series of comprehensive solutions and upgrades across our logistics services in England. The new offerings are set to significantly enhance the cross-border experience for both customers and businesses.

With the aim of boosting domestic consumption, we have also rolled out half-day delivery service under Cainiao Express in 8 major cities across China. In addition to Hangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, and Huizhou, Cainiao Express services will soon be made available in 7 other Chinese cities.

At the third edition of the China Postal Science and Tech Award ceremony, we were awarded 1st place for "Urban Logistics Calculation System based on Multimodal and Causal AI" and 3rd place for "Cainiao Hangzhou Bonded Warehouse Automation Project". The China Postal Science and Tech Award is one of several top awards in China, and is testament to our unwavering commitment to continuous innovation within the logistics sector.

Cainiao Customers in Hong Kong Surpasses 2.6 Million

In July, Cainiao Hong Kong saw a double-digit year-on-year growth in order volume. Cainiao’s user base in Hong Kong also exceeded 2.6 million, indicating that an average of one in three Hong Kong residents use Cainiao’s eCommerce logistics services.

Earlier in the same month, Cainiao launched its next-day delivery service in Hong Kong, and introduced a compensation model for late deliveries.

Cainiao Unveils Upgraded Logistics Offerings for Customers and Businesses in UK

To address the sustained demand for efficient cross-border logistics among international brands in UK, Cainiao announced a series of comprehensive solutions and upgrades that significantly enhances the cross-border delivery experience.

Under the new express service, UK consumers can expect to receive their parcels within an average of 7 working days. For small and medium-sized businesses, Cainiao offers a cost-effective standard service with deliveries within 12 days, saving businesses approximately RMB10 ?per order.

Cainiao Rolls Out Half-Day Delivery Service in 8 Major Cities Across China

Cainiao has launched a half-day express delivery service (Cainiao Express) in 8 key cities across China, including Hangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, and Huizhou.

Cainiao Express was launched in partnership with Tmall Supermarket, allowing consumers to receive their orders before 9pm for purchases made before noon that day. Soon, more consumers across China can expect to enjoy this service, as Cainiao plans to expand the service to 7 other cities.

Cainiao Clinches Two Major Awards at China Postal Science and Tech Awards 2023

At the third edition of the China Postal Science and Tech Awards ceremony, Cainiao received two major awards – first place in "Urban Logistics Algorithmic System based on Multimodal and Causal AI" and third place for its "Innovative Project for Automated Platform Serving Multiple Merchants – Cainiao Hangzhou Bonded Warehouse Automation Project"

The China Postal Science and Tech Awards is regarded as a highly prestigious award in the country, and is testament to Cainiao’s unwavering commitment to continuous innovation.
