Caged vs Caged

Recently dropped Caged Wet, our first outdoor and bathroom lighting collection. Based on the Buster + Punch Caged light, it’s one of the final pieces of our bathroom collection – allowing you to spec a bathroom or spa space in Buster + Punch from top to bottom.

It’s easy to overlook Caged Wet in other spaces and rooms, bringing a dynamic contrast when combined with the original Caged. It’s a beautiful light inside or outdoors. Here’s a swift breakdown of the two lights’ highlights and details to help you lock in the right one for your projects.

Caged

The central aesthetic of Caged is its contrasting tactile matt black metal cage and black or white marble back plate. Available in a wide range of sizes and light arrangements, Caged is a super versatile light that you can use on walls, ceilings or ‘suspended’ – in the case of Caged Ceiling 5.0, which can have an extension cage. Depending on the model, Caged can be used with our small Puck bulb, the original Buster Bulb or our Buster Bulb/Tube. It’s got a genuine presence that enriches a space.?

Caged Wet

The main point of difference with Caged Wet is its areas of use. The light is fully approved for outdoor and wet space use, with the addition of glazing to protect the light from the elements. The back plate is also cast solid metal, a process that leaves a patina that tells a story of how it was made. The cage is matt black solid metal, as with the original.

Both versions of Caged are finished with our signature coin screws and feature Buster + Punch light holders in solid metal. The sheer versatility of Caged and its visual power make it a dream light to work with, no matter whether you’re designing an interior or exterior.
