CAE SPRING CONFERENCE IN LA
Last week, from Wednesday through Saturday, I co-chaired the COMMITTEE ON ARCHITECTURE FOR EDUCATION SPRING CONFERENCE IN Los Angeles with Helena Jubany helped by many, including the master organizer, AIA National's Bruce Bland and Chair of the CAE, Karina Ruiz. We saw many amazing old and new projects showcasing the inspiring work of innovative educators, from El Segundo to Pasadena and the Arts District. Guest speakers and panelists included Michael Osman from UCLA, Alix O'Brien from LAUSD, Tom Albright from ANFA and Frances Anderton from KCRW. 5 年I agree John Dale, the CAE Spring Conference? in LA was one of the best yet. Through the 3 days of tours we saw a wide breath of solutions to the question of how space and pedagogy relate. I look forward to continuing the conversation at #EDspaces?at the CAE Fall Conference in Milwaukee. Great job Karina Ruiz?and Bruce Bland.
