CAD′S OF: Marius Imiolczyk: CFD APPLICATION
A couple of months ago, traveling on the internet looking for information and knowledge about CFD applied to Formula 1, I found GrabCad (web whose main objective is the exchange of Cad files), a simulated CFD rear wing. The work was done by Marius Imiolczyk. You can see his profile in LinkedIn:

My surprise was when besides seeing images of the CFD simulations made by Marius, I also found the Cad of the front wing; I downloaded it immediately and analyzed it looking for possible failures to repair them: it had no failures and it was perfectly useful to test it in CFD directly. This was great and good news: not having to repair a Cad to be able to test it in CFD; normally, you always have to do it...:
The surprise increased because I found in his GarbCad profile, other front wing and rear wing models; I used all of them, to exchange them in a complete F1 model I have (Perrin model). This way, I can try different parts on the same car, to observe aerodynamic changes in downforce, drag or aero balance:
I want to thank Marius for freely offering this kind of interesting and useful cad's.
It's a pleasure to meet good aerodynamic engineers like him to exchange cad's and simulations, to learn.
I hope to work with him in some CFD project to learn: incorporating the suspension in a car to see its reactions in the curve for example, or seeing the deflections of the front wing for example, etc... there are many simulations and studies to do.
