CA GOLFERS!!! Have you read AB 672? If passed, it will change public golf courses to include "affordable housing complexes"!!!
Read California AB 672 and see the effect it will have, if passed, on public golf courses. AB 672 introduced in February 2021 and has the power to to change public golf courses to build "affordable housing complexes" with $50 million appropriated from California's General Fund. California has around 900+ public and private golf courses. Get a copy of AB 672 at California legislative website at https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=202120220AB672
At https://www.golflink.com/golf-courses/ca/los-angeles/, it states, "There are 19 golf courses in Los Angeles, California and 8 are municipal courses. There are also another 65 golf courses within 20 miles of Los Angeles, including 8 public, 37 municipal and 20 private courses....". Thus, the city, county and city/county locations present many targets for grants of money for "conversion" to "affordable housing complexes".
