Cheese & Wine Charity Evening at The Old School House in Royston, raises an impressive £863 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity
The event, which took place on the 5th December, was held as part of our commitment to the Arthur Rank Hospice Money Multiplier Challenge, a fundraising initiative designed to support the hospice’s vital work with individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.
The evening featured guided tastings of exceptional cheeses and wines, led by local businesses and specialists, The Honest Fig and Cambridge Wine Royston. Guests enjoyed a variety of pairings while learning about the craftsmanship behind the selections. Representatives from Arthur Rank Hospice, Sophie and Ellie, attended the event to share inspiring stories about the hospice’s work and the impact of fundraising efforts. In addition to the tastings, the evening featured games and a raffle to contribute to the funds raised. We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the businesses that generously donated prizes: Kelly’s Kitchen, Hair By Natalie, Revolution Records, and Glazed Creations.
