I was privileged to be able to serve as the forum's Moderator which focused on three key areas: Strategic planning, Facility Organisational Management and Organisational Leadership.
It was a rare opportunity and was an honour to have three CEOs of well know FM companies speaking side-by-side on the same platform. They did it for the key aim to influence the audience to raise the recognition of FM as a value-add function to organisations. In short 2 hours, the sharing were gems of knowledge and practical strategies for FM professionals.
The forum was very well attended and participated by those who are new, transiting into FM, season FM professionals and students who are currently pursuing FM studies. It was very well organised by the IFMA-SG Chapter, an initiative to create opportunities for practitioners to network with their counterparts and the industry leaders, sharing their views, experiences and gaining insightful knowledge.

7 年Hello Jack, there are many learnings that myself have benefited, such as: (1) What sets successful FM professionals apart, where essential behaviours mentioned were relating to (a) Decision making, (b) Stakeholders engagement, (c) Be proactive to strategic objectives & (d) Reliable delivery (2) Life lessons: Be Bold, Be Hungry and Be Proactive (3) F-type leadership: Be Fair, Friendly, Firm and Fun Mainly, it was a session of sharing of life experience and practical strategies.
