Commercial Real Estate Loan Request

I have a client that is interested in obtaining a line of credit in the amount of $5 million dollars to build homes for sale. This client has in the past builded up to 1000 homes in the Houston market. He sold that business a few years ago and went into other business ventures. He now wants to build homes once again and needs a line of credit to build homes. We recommended to the client the SBA caplines program and the sub-program the builders line of credit whereby the facility is SBA guaranteed up to 75% of the loan amount or $3.75 million out of the $5.0 million plus a lien on the real estate and improvements thereof.
