I've done it twice and both times with a new baby around - which, if you have kids yourself, you know that it takes 'hard' to another level...

The good thing about my situation was that I got really good at prioritising. I realised that I can't do it all and be it all for everyone - somethings' got to give. Also, it forces you to reflect on what your strong points are, where you need help and provides some self-assurance that you are heading in the right direction.

Like most people, I've got my own set of baggage.

I've worked with a couple of fantastic coaches, one of them the loveliest powerhouse RiJustin. These coaches have not only provided me with practical advice but also helped me with my self-confidence. I am naturally quite a positive and confident person. But, like most people, I've got my own set of baggage. I was raised to be humble and never to rest on any laurels. To be proud of myself was not something that I was taught and it is still a difficult thing for me now. Throughout my career, I've sub-consciously let that hold me back many times.

Also, in my business, that inner conflict really did affect how I ran and promoted my business. If you decide to use social media to market your business you have to put yourself out there - all of you! That's a scary thing, especially if you are like me and are not big on sharing even in your private life... BUT being humble and quiet, when it comes to business, just won't do it.
