Office LTSC 2024 Release
Microsoft has announced the general availability of Office LTSC 2024. This version includes support for Open Document Format 1.4 and more Office add-ins, though it removes the "Publish to Power BI" option in Excel and Microsoft Publisher from the suite.
New features include Dynamic Charts and more than a dozen new text and array functions in Excel, enhanced search and meeting creation options in Outlook, and improvements to performance, security, and accessibility. Office LTSC 2024 will be supported for five years under the Fixed Lifecycle Policy.

OneDrive Storage Policy Changes
Starting January next year, Microsoft will implement changes to storage policies for unlicensed OneDrive accounts. This will affect data access for admins and end users if the account has been unlicensed for more than 90 days.
“Beginning January 27, 2025, any OneDrive user account that has been unlicensed for longer than 93 days becomes inaccessible to admins and end users. The unlicensed account is automatically archived, viewable via admin tools, but remains inaccessible until administrators take action on them."

Office 365 E1 Plus
A new license, Office 365 E1 Plus, has been introduced, offering additional features like endpoint management and data loss prevention, though it's not available in all regions. Currently Office 365 E1 Plus is only available within the following regions LATAM, ASEAN, India and select markets in Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Microsoft has renamed Project Plan 3 and Project Plan 5 to Planner and Project Plan 3 and Planner and Project Plan 5, respectively, to reflect the integration of Planner's basic and premium features.
