Comms Creatives Content of the Week

COTW comes from Barclays UK on LinkedIn .

They challenged a Taylor Swift fan to talk about the theory of ‘Swiftonomics’ in 60 seconds, and the effect her Eras tour has on the economy.

What I love about this is Barclays have taken a potentially dry subject like economics, and made?it interesting and really quick and easy to understand.

Even the cleverest?people don't go to LinkedIn,?a more professional space,?to consume complex, lengthy?content.

A quick 60 second digest makes it much easier for people to join the conversation.

This still feels like on-brand professionally made content but is influenced by more the authentic user-made content from TikTok.

It's less ‘grey suit and tie’ and corporate, more like an informal chat with a knowledgable?friend or colleague. Nice.

Comms tip: Make it an informal, interesting, summary

It's Linkedin , but that doesn't mean it has to be boring.? Find an angle or a new way to describe a topic, lighten up, and challenge yourself to give the maximum amount of information in the shortest space of time.

Comms poll of the week

Answer a 5 second question! The results of this will be interesting...

1 How big is your comms team? A Just one: I'm flying solo! B 2-3 people: a cozy nest C 4-8 people: a lively flock D 9-15: a soaring formation E 15-20: a busy colony F 21+: a diverse ecosystem Submit

Last week's BYN poll results shows that most of you would prefer we only list jobs that have the salary range clearly stated in the job description.

Ok then! Give us a couple of weeks to get our processes in order and we'll do just that.

Thanks if you took part.

Should we show you jobs with no salary? 210 out of 211 answered Only share the jobs with a salary listed 167 resp. 79.5% Share both - carry on sharing roles with and without salaries listed in the job description 43 resp. 20.5%
