Bye, 2022: Reflections, reflections

Bye, 2022: Reflections, reflections

Salut!

Alina, Brand & Marketing Manager at My Learning Hub, is here.?

With the new year approaching so quickly, the business reflections on 2022 very much overlap with my own as I joined the company exactly a year ago (happy anniversary to me!)?

Should I mention that this year hasn’t been the easiest? With media news that a priori cannot be good anymore, you know it perfectly yourself.

But one of the things that kept us all afloat and sane was work – and for me personally, also rewatching Harry Potter as a source of comfort and... the quote you’re about to read next.

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Albus Dumbledore

Let’s turn on the light ?

As we say goodbye to the year 2022, let’s take a look at some of the highlights of the year.

And, of course, the biggest highlight is all of you, our dear clients, users and subscribers.?

New clients from all over the world

We’ve grown thanks to you

More clients around the world have joined us – putting more pins on our client geo map, which now includes clients from France, Switzerland, Germany and India.

We expanded our existing industry categories like IT, Fintech, Manufacturing, Non-profit and Professional Services, whilst other clients opened a few new doors for us, namely Real Estate, Media and Private Equity.

Speaking in numbers:

Our customer success team completed over 200 onboarding sessions to match a 55% increase in our account number with a total of 28,900 new LMS users and over 30,000 courses created with our Authoring Tool.

Speaking in feelings:

We thank you for keeping us busy and helping us improve.?

Better design & functionality in our products

Our product has become better

In 2022, we released a few major updates across our product suite for both users and admins to easier navigate our LMS and Learning Hubs.

Without delving into too much detail, I’ll summarise the most significant improvements that you must have noticed or heard of:

  • A new user interface for the LMS and Hubs
  • Mylo Bot for MS Teams and Slack
  • The dashboard slider and masks for better design
  • New integrations and data mappings for SAML, Workday, Personio and Bamboo HR
  • The H5P format implementation
  • Additional course reporting functionality
  • And many more!

Welcome to new team members.

We’ve built an operational muscle

To match the increasing demand from a larger number of clients, we needed to improve our internal processes. After consulting with experts across growth, customer success and culture, we:

  • Updated and optimised our development processes
  • Restructured client onboarding, help desk and general support?
  • Created a new onboarding for employees
  • Implemented a customer review process
  • Improved our compliance with Cyber Essentials, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certificates
  • Expanded our software stack with Notion, Freshdesk, Smart Karrot, Pipedrive, Leadfeeder and Active Campaign

Most importantly, we welcomed our amazing new team members.?

Oxana, Kseniya and Kate joined our customer success team over the year. They have become a strong united force in connecting with new and existing customers, tackling support tickets, and forming ideas for new features in the product roadmap. They are the face of our company – and we couldn’t feel more proud.

Vladislav, our front-end developer, also joined us in 2022. With his superpower of delivering code with lightning-fast speed and efficiency, he leaves the rest of us to wonder: what kind of magic is it?

We’ve worked on our brand

Last but not least (especially for me), we put a lot of effort into building awareness and visibility for our young yet promising brand.

When I delved into the Learning & Development world, I realised that learning couldn’t stop just there. From our morning news to late-night random Google searches, from customer success to sales, learning is everywhere – in both life and work.

Meeting my team for the first time whilst facilitating our first brand workshop helped us create a foundation for our updated and refined positioning:?

We design a delightful learning experience for everyone in the workplace – no matter their skill, job role or seniorityю

And then we started to bring it to life, including:

Our efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.

Thanks to our clients and their positive feedback, we received three awards from eLearning Industry and seven badges total from G2 Fall and Winter Reports.
