Asteroid City?(2023) is perhaps the most 'Wes-iest' or Wes Anderson films ever. Whilst the acting, styling, and set are all a delight to watch, the story and messages feel close to greatness but ultimately rushed. If you love his films, you'll probably like this, but if your on the fence it may not be for you.

I had only just got around to watching? The Last Duel?(2022) and I was left wondering what all the fuss was about - as a period piece it fell short and the framing of women's narratives was a poor feminist attempt to?privilege the wife's story. The production was great, and Jodie Comer was sublime, just a shame the script fell flat.
