Buying PlayStation 5 with Automation Anywhere

PlayStation 5 is the Best gaming console ever (In my opinion). With that said, It is also extremely difficult to get one now.

As it gets even harder to buy Sony's PlayStation 5, the shortage of PlayStation 5 consoles is set to continue, according to Sony, with many consumers missing out on the latest [arguably greatest] gaming hardware.

The underlying problem with supply is a global shortage of computer chips. But scarcity at a retail level has been aggravated for consumers by scalpers bulk ordering items as soon as they're available to sell for a profit.

The bottom line is that You cannot get your hands on a PS5, at least not as easy as a walk in the store or ordering anything else online.

So every time sony announces a restock, thousands of gamers gear up to get their hands on their favorite console. Including myself.?

After consulting some of the Twitter signal accounts and refusing to pay,

I decided to build an automation anywhere bot to grab me a PS5. After all, what good is technology if you can't use it for a cause?

So here's my workflow for buying a PS5 from Amazon

• Either get a link to the PS5 console on amazon or use one of the wishlists
• Sign in to amazon on your computer browser [amazon lets you stay logged in for a long time]
• Schedule the bot to run at the time announced in the restock notification
• Build a retry mechanism because the items may appear a few mins later than the announced time.
• Configure the bot to select the desired payment method & place the order
• Done
