Buy with Prime x Amazon Accelerate Recap

We're still on cloud nine after an amazing week at #AmazonAccelerate 2024. From big announcements and key partnerships to quality time with teammates and building new relationships, we did a lot!

Check out some of the highlights:

  • ?? We kicked off Accelerate on the main stage where we had a ton of announcements - update to Shopify and new partnerships with 谷歌 , TikTok , and PayPal . And based on the buzz in the main stage audience and on the pavilion floor, merchants were just as excited as we are.
  • ?? Fast shipping from Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) just got faster, at no extra cost. Thanks to those of you who stopped by the booth to tell us how much you love this change.
  • ?? Buy with Prime has shown that displaying fast delivery estimates can help boost conversions. Now merchants using MCF can add them to product detail pages, Google Shopping ads, and TikTok ads.
  • ???? Sellers want to know what other features they can activate to drive more units. So we had some great conversations about Reviews from Amazon, Buy with Prime collection pages, and traffic-driving solutions, like Amazon DSP and social ads.

?? Buy with Prime + PayPal: For participating brands integrating using the Buy with Prime API, PayPal is now available at checkout after shoppers log in to their Amazon account. Next year, Prime members can link their PayPal and Amazon accounts to automatically receive their Prime shipping benefits on participating merchants’ websites.
?? TikTok Ads: Buy with Prime merchants will be able to display the Prime brand and real-time delivery estimates in their TikTok Ads next month. After clicking the Shop with Prime button within the merchant’s ad, shoppers will be directed to the merchant’s website to place their order.
?? So far this year, Buy with Prime has seen incredible growth year-over-year. And we announced a new update to the Buy with Prime app for Shopify. Using the existing Shopify cart and checkout, shoppers can now purchase items with Prime and without Prime, together in one order.
?? Buy with Prime merchants can now launch Amazon Demand-Side Platform (DSP) campaigns that leverage insights from Amazon—like product views and purchases—with shopping signals from their own website to drive traffic to their ecommerce site.
?? Faster Multi-Channel Fulfillment Delivery: We’re increasing the speed for Standard Delivery from 5 days to 3 days - that's 40% improvement! And at no extra cost to merchants. And merchants can now show a dynamic, real-time delivery estimate on their website.
?? Recent Google studies have shown up to a 7.6% increase in clicks when fast, free shipping is displayed directly on Google Shopping Ads. Merchants using MCF can show a dynamic delivery date in their Google Shopping ads and search results.

1) Based on results compiled from 28 merchants who initiated advertising campaigns with Amazon DSP for Buy with Prime between March 2024 and June 2024

2) Based on an A/B test conducted by Google in June 2024 on Shopping ads in the US. Google defines fast shipping as arriving in 3 days or less from when an order was placed.
