Should you buy MLM leads? Should you? First of all, what is a good thing? I bought a lot, thousands and thousands of dollars of lead generation. Not really lead generation but just purchasing leads from real time leads to phone interview leads to 72-hour leads to 24 hour leads. So here’s what you’re going to find. The great thing is it’s going to give you amazing practice. Every situation from why are you calling me, to a hang up, to yelling at you, to who is this calling? Obviously you get a few good ones, but my point is literally everything you can ever think of, you’re going to find out and you’re going to come into contact with. So it’s going to bring you some incredible experience.

So that is a great thing. We all need that. But here’s the deal, when you buy MLM leads, you don’t know how many people bought them the same way. It happens all the time, that same way to 20 people. The industry is corrupt. That’s what they do.

So that’s the number one thing. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t work and that’s not what I’m saying. That does not mean it doesn’t work but it does mean that it’s just difficult. It’s difficult, difficult, difficult.

Number two. MLM leads you just don’t know where they come from, right? They could be survey leads. So they’re not qualified. They could be leads that opt-in for a free blender. I’m serious. They could be somebody that gives them a survey at the end of buying something and they click on a button that says, “Yes, I would like to make money from home.”

They’re not qualified. They’re not targeted. So the interesting thing about that is when you call them, they don’t really know why you’re calling them. A lot of times in my experience, a lot of times phone interviewed leads, they don’t remember filling out the information. So my point is it’s hard. It’s difficult.

If I started my career I would buy MLM leads, I would buy a thousand of them. I would go through them. Why? Because it’s going to give you incredible practice. It’s going to do allow you to get your “pitch” and your rapport building skills down because these people don’t know you when you call somebody that you know on Facebook or LinkedIn or Twitter. They know who you are, they have some resemblance of you and what you bring and all of that stuff.

These people have no idea. None. Zero. They don’t know you at all. That may be a good thing, maybe a bad thing, right? Whatever. But it’s hard to build rapport like that. It’s difficult. So when you call them, guess what? It’s amazing, amazing, amazing practice, incredible practice. So today I just want to tell you that.
