"Old hat" to many of you I am sure, but Butterfly Conservation and the Biological Records Centre have a great app for logging and recording butterflies and then submitting your records -  https://butterfly-conservation.org/8803/irecord-butterflies.html - for use with smartphones.

I have just spoken with the Bat Conservation Trust and understand there is nothing similar for bats yet........

I need to check whether BTO's Birdtrack is available as an app......unless anyone can advise..
