Advance Auto hacked
"Advance Auto Parts has confirmed it suffered a data breach after a threat actor attempted to sell stolen data on a hacking forum earlier this month."
What's the price of lax data security? ZERO
"A debt collection enterprise called Financial Business and Consumer Solutions (FBCS) has been impacted by a massive data breach that affects millions of Americans."
Cyber attack on car dealerships

Panera Warns of Employee Data Breach After March Ransomware Attack, Fails to compensate victims
"Panera Bread has notified employees of a data breach after attackers stole its data. It notified employees that information that they provided pursuant to their employment was breached, including social security numbers. Panera offered affected employees a year of CyEx Identity Theft Total."

Alleged Boss of ‘Scattered Spider' Hacking Group Arrested
"A 22-year-old UK man arrested in Spain is allegedly the ringleader of the Scattered Spider cybercrime group behind hacks of Twilio, LastPass, DoorDash, Mailchimp, and others. He is accused of stealing data to access millions in funds. The man allegedly controlled $27 million in Bitcoin."
Blackbaud Settles With California For $6.75 Million... Victims get nothing.
"Blackbaud has now settled with all 50 states and the District of Columbia regarding the May 2020 data breach which has cost the firm millions in legal costs and fines. Blackbaud settled with the State of California for $6.75 million, which is still subject to court approval.
That brings the total to $56.25 million to settle with the states and another $3 million to settle with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The new deal must be approved by the Superior Court of the State of California of San Diego County."
Credit Card Skimmers at Aldi
"Discount grocer Aldi is alerting customers in New Jersey that their debit and credit card information may have been compromised.
In a recent notice the chain said an unauthorized third party gained physical access to self-checkout terminals at five stores and installed credit card skimming devices."
