Busy Server Theory
My friend, Beth Kelly, recently described herself as being too busy and needing to cut back on her responsibilities in order to focus on her priorities. Then, she thought more deeply and realized that she does her best work when she's overworked:
"When faced with an overwhelming amount of problems to solve, the inner master evokes an economy of motion that seems to pull from a higher level of consciousness and hard to intellectualize. This busy server is highly effective, efficient and produces amazing results. The same server with one only one table to care for, suddenly forgets to put their order in, doesn't refill their water and is no where to be found." - Beth Kelly, 11:11 Creative, Taos, NM
