Busy, Busy, & Only ME... Busy!

A true incident that happened a few years ago…
a common friend from our group kept calling one of us among the group. He repeatedly called him over 15 to 20 times. Our good friend did not answer the call and took for granted our calling friend. With the thought that he would call him whenever he gets free, he neither answered the call, nor returned the call.
Forgetting to call back, he finally decided to call back after a couple of days but never got a response. He was curious as to why our friend didn’t respond to his call. More so since this friend has never refrained from attending any phone calls or, he would at least attend the call with a call back promise soon.
He therefore decided to reach out to this friend and visited his home only to find?that the family had just returned home after completion of the last rites of our dear friend. He passed away a few days ago!
To this day, our friend is in guilt and feels that, had he attended the desperate call of our friend, things would have been somehow different. Maybe, atleast not death of this dear friend...

When people tell you that they are busy, it actually means that you are not important to them nor,?a priority to them – Let it go! Walk away!

When people tell you they are busy, it only means, they are busy for you! Everybody has the right to be busy, but don’t turn away someone knocking your door. They would have come with a lot of expectations!
Never treat people with your busyness. Your business, your busy schedules, your urgency at something else… you think that this is display of power, strength, and importance of you? They might have something more important & urgent than what’s currently on your plate. For all you know, it could be life-death situation for them.
The reason someone reaches out to you, is because they rely on you, trust you and hope that you are the one who could be of some help & support in their current situation.
Would you like hear from someone you are reaching out that they are busy or have not time for you? Would you like to hear excuses from them,?and stories as to how busy they have been? It may not matter to them either. So how different would the other feel when, you say that you have not time or….I am Busy
