Busy days ahead for Aviation !

Here is a comment what I heard yesterday from a friend of mine, a young IT businessman. “Hey, you know the Covid-19 vaccines are at the doorstep, I am just waiting to get my turn to get my shot…. You know what I plan next? A loooong ( his long got too many’O’s) travel to the beautiful beaches of Queensland or Seychelles, forest safari in Africa or Oceania region and the beautiful night life in Sao Polo. I was longing for a holiday for the past one year….”

By hearing the above, the aviation enthusiast in me stood up. Yes, the time has come up for a wake-up call for aviation as Covid-19 vaccinations will start in most of the countries within next 30 days for the priority categories and it fall into the general public in next 2 to 4 month time. What this means?

-         Busy Airports

-         Busy Hotels, Restaurants & Apartments

-         Busy Flights

-         Large number of events

-         Busy Streets

-         Happy Tourists

And hundreds and thousands of jobs will be back, all will be within a short span of time, say next 4-6 months time.

In the coming days the tourism industry will see a tremendous growth as the mindset of middle-income group got changed towards life. During a recent discussion on a family group one of the young family has opined “all these time we were thinking of ‘work-business-earn-family’, never thought about roaming around the world. Covid-19 lock-down gave us time to reset our priorities on which travel will have a higher priority, once the pandemic is in control”.

This is the statement of millions of people, the new entrants to the tourism industry as customers.

So from the coming week, we can see many of the Recruitment companies will be posting fresh jobs for the aviation, hotel, tourism and travel sector, on the other side many of the companies started preparing their new business plan.

Let’s prepare for a Joyful and Safe holidays season by bringing smile into many faces by seeing the pay cheques.

An excellent perspective on the future "reset' of the post-Covid airline industry. The return of air travel and travel services to near normal, or an innovative customer-focused "new normal" will boost not only the airline industry and markets specifically, but will also add a much needed boost to economies around the world. However, as the industry returns to collective strength, airlines, state regulators, and industry institutions should collaborate to implement continuous health and safety standards and monitoring to help ensure safe operations and travel for passengers, crews, and industry organizations all around. Thank you, Dr. Sam for sharing this very valuable perspective.
