Companies such as Amazon, Facebook & Youtube come to mind right!

What do these companies have in common? They are totally FREE for customers to use, but businesses pay to have their product or service marketed on these platforms because they know the exposure it gives them.

I bought a BBQ on AMAZON a couple of days ago, since I've been getting pops ups from Amazon on BBQ equipment.

So what does this mean. All these companies are using an algorithm (Artificial Intelligence) to monitor what there free customers are looking at, and then up-sells to them based on what they actually want = smart marketing
