Businesses Coming Together To Do Good

It was great to see business owners and their families getting together on Saturday for a  fantastic day on Cannock Chase, raising money for the County Air Ambulance Trust, organised by Karl Lehmann & Chris Wheeler  in order to provide funding for more helipads through the Help Appeal. The event highlighted how effective businesses can be in raising not only the profile of charities but encouraging others to give to worthy causes. The County Air Ambulance rely on charity to provide what can be seen as an essential life saving service. The service relies on getting people to hospital as quickly as possible because vital minutes/seconds count when someone is in a critical condition.  So the need for more helipads and direct landing is crucial to saving more lives, 

Everyone attending on Saturday were no doubt (like me) moved  by the touching story of Lesley Knight a Fundraising Executive who works tirelessly to raise funds for the charity.   I will be continuing to raise money by taking part in a 124 mile bike ride on 6th June 2015  from Stafford to Caernarfon.  Other business owners will also be participating, all of whom have trained really hard over the passed months in order to be able to finish the challenging distance.  We would be grateful for any donations made and would appreciate your support.  Please take time to read more about Lesley's story and how you can donate please follow this link
