BUSINESSES ACROSS THE UK INVITED TO APPLY FOR THE ZOKIT AWARDS

For the first time, any business in any part of the UK may enter the awards which began as a celebration of business in South Wales.

The winners will be announced at the Zokit Biz Expo Online on October 14, one of the first all-online business shows in the UK.

Zokit founder and Managing Director Neil Lloyd said: “The pandemic and lockdown have been massive challenges for businesses across the UK, so we felt it was important that we all come together safely online to celebrate our resilience and reward the wave of innovation that this unprecedented challenge has unleashed.

“I’d urge businesses from Inverness to Belfast, from Canterbury to Carlisle, and from Anglesey to Bristol to enter our awards.

“Applying for an award is free, although businesses who are shortlisted will need to attend the awards presentation online at 12.30pm, also free, with option to donate to our chosen charities.

“Businesses will also need to be a member of Zokit to qualify so that we can fully evaluate entrants through our independent judging process. Event tickets are free and membership plans start from free when you apply for an award.

“All finalists will receive a marketing package in lead up, during and after the event, including social media promotion, feature in the Zokit digital magazine and press release.”

Entries close on August 31st, but if a popular category has enough entries before that, it could close early.

So, businesses are urged to apply now to ensure they are considered in the categories they prefer.

Zokit is a community of business owners which started in South Wales and is now rapidly expanding across the UK and beyond.  It has more than 2000 members and associate members in a range of sectors – from health and wellbeing and business services to digital marketing and training.

 Alongside its fortnightly Global BizTalks and Networking events and Biz Expo Online Zokit hosts local online networking and development sessions in Cardiff, Chepstow, Newport, Bridgend, and the Vale of Glamorgan with new locations being added. 

 It also provides training and development services to businesses of all sizes.

BUSINESS ENABLER - for the business or organisation that enables other business to thrive.

ONLINE INFLUENCE - for the business/organisation/person that has a big influence online.

WELL-BEING AT WORK - for businesses or organisations which demonstrate commitment to ensuring wellness of their workforce.

DIVERSITY - for businesses which have diversity at their core.

ENGAGING SPEAKER - for the speaker that lights up hearts and minds.

BUSINESS AUTHOR - for the writer and thought leader in business, leadership, or personal development.

PIVOT OF THE YEAR - for the business which has adapted most quickly as a response to the pandemic measures.

All the finalists will be entered into the overall Business of the Year category and all will also be considered for the Judges' Picks Notable Business awards and the Microbusiness, Small Business, Medium Business and Large Business of the Year awards. The online expo will be hosted by ITV presenter Ruth Wignall and online ‘stands’ will be available for sponsors, who will also receive social media marketing and online presence during the expo.
