Business of the Year!
This past weekend we were honored with the 2020 Spirit Award from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
A big thanks to the Chamber for selecting Eight Oaks this year.
It means a lot to me personally and to the entire Eight Oaks Crew, and we’re grateful to be included among all the wonderful individuals and organizations recognized.
A huge thanks to the Eight Oaks Team, our Board Members, Leaders, and Crew. Without their hard work and complete dedication to their craft, none of this would happen.
Eight Oaks is a veteran-owned, family-run, farm distillery. At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to help make our community a better place.
Our mission is to responsibly craft farm-to-bottle spirits, leave the land better than we found it, create a spirit of community for all.
We proudly grow our grains, with the help of our friends Don and Joel Newhard and their family, on our farm and the farms of our neighbors, we support the growth of local jobs, and work closely with our nonprofit partners: Farmer Veteran Coalition, Tails of Valor, and the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
I’m proud of the spirits we make, but I’m even more proud of our work in the Lehigh Valley. Which is why this award is so special.
There are so many wonderful businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals doing important and meaningful work and we are thankful to call the Lehigh Valley home.
It’s the connection to community that drives us. We look forward to continuing to work with all our partners, friends, and neighbors to help make positive and enduring contributions.
We’ll do our best to continue to live up to this award, an award that aligns perfectly with our vision as a company, which is a world where businesses are a force for good in their communities.
We will continue to do more than make spirits; we want to make a difference.
