Business Webinar - FREE!
With our roots in voluntary service, those of us who come to training indirectly through other work in the non-profit sector rarely think of ourselves or our work as a “business.”? If we already have a job, we say we’re employees, not entrepreneurs.? For many of us, we’re hugely motivated to “give back” to the recovery community, and maybe we feel it’s grubby to think of our expertise or talent in any aspect of “recovery” (including a facilitation or training practice) as something that we might be selling or getting paid for.? Or maybe we’re just not thinking about these issues at all!
Whether it’s obvious or not, if you’re facilitating training anywhere, under any circumstances, you’re in the facilitation business.? If you’re in the facilitation business, you’re an entrepreneur.? In this introductory live webinar, we’ll unpack these (provocative?) statements. Join me and Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery at 10am on October 30. Zoom Meeting details at https://addictionrecoverytraining.org/online-training/#.?
The webinar is designed for potential, new, and established facilitators and trainers, including CCAR RCPF and members of the New York Certification Board Trainer Registry (NYCB continuing education credits available).? Of course, anyone with an interest in the topic is welcome!
On a personal note, it's an honor to deliver a webinar in honor of the late Art Woodward. Thank you, CCAR, Travis Caouette, RCPF and Michael Serrano and, of course, incoming Executive Director, Stacy Charpentier, RCPF, CPRS, ICPR .

This is going to be amazing; Ruth Riddick is a phenomenal facilitator!
