Business Talk with a Side of Tequila

My husband and I had a day date for a local event for Tequila tasting.

It was a perfect 60-degree day with a friendly crowd but not overcrowded. 

We bought a pocket full of Tokins to test some brands we had never tried and found a new one called Codigo Tequila Rosa that we enjoyed. 

My boys are grown, and my business need has changed to things my husband and I want to do more of.

Money opens doors, changes opportunities, and allows you to experience something you can not without. 

Yes, we like to travel, but we travel in luxury, not general seating. I enjoy the experience of good food, excellent service, and never looking at the right side of the menu. 

Like today at the tequila fest, we enjoyed the upscale drinks, not the gut-wrenching tequila most people drink, but the smooth, no, burn drink you can enjoy, and your palate thanks you instead of gagging. 

Financial stability and success can bring many luxuries and opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. 

Enjoying expensive tequila, staying in the best hotels, and traveling without worrying about finances is a perks of building a successful business.

However, it’s important to remember that money shouldn’t be the sole driving force behind building a business. While it’s a motivating factor, focusing solely on making money can lead to burnout and a lack of fulfillment.

That being said, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying the rewards of financial success. Celebrating your achievements and enjoying the fruits of your labor, whether indulging in expensive tequila or treating yourself to a luxurious vacation, is essential.

At the end of the day, building a successful business is about finding a balance between financial success and personal fulfillment.

Money may open doors, but it’s up to you to decide where those doors lead and what kind of experiences you want to have along the way.
