Business Support For Acorn Members
This year, Acorn Networking were hoping to raise money for two lodges. One in Cornwall and another in Yorkshire.
Now you ask why a business networking group wants to purchase two holiday lodges?
Acorn Networking is a non profit networking group and it has three principles. These are;
1) To support growth of the local and UK economy by supporting small and medium companies through the first vital years of business start up
2) To support community projects and helping local communities be ever more united. Local businesses and members can see a difference that they make to the local area and are proud to be Acorn members
3) To support charities and raise vital money for worthy causes. In 2020, we are supporting Sight Support Derbyshire.
Where does a lodge come into all this?
New business owners are so focused on growing their business, working long hours and increased stress levels, with often living off just enough to cover essential costs in the first few years. These members need support and help, not only to support their families but the business owner themselves, preventing mental exhaustion and breakdown. This instead creates family memories and reward.
Purchasing a couple of luxury lodges will give the members a free weeks holiday each year to wind down and recuperate. This is vital for the longevity of a business and mental health.
Therefore we are looking for a minimum of a one year investment from larger businesses to donate funds to help fund two lodges, helping smaller business owners succeed and to reward them for all the hard work, time and effort that they put in, supporting the local community and employment. Smaller businesses are the back bone to the UK economy.
In return for an investment into this project, you will also get a free weeks holiday (pending minimum donation) or a reduced priced holiday (if lower than the minimum donation). The sponsorship can be off set against your companies books or you can opt to withdraw funding after a one year period. You have two options and both will be signed through a legally binding contract.
You will also be promoted as a main sponsor for the caravan, giving your business more exposure and credibility throughout your time as a sponsor. Without your sponsorship, Acorn Networking will not be able to accomplish the goal this year and will not certainly be ready for this year. The current lock down has affected revenues for this project. We aim to raise £500k, so when we mean luxury, we mean luxury.
Private rentals will be available for non booked weeks and will only be to business owners or employees of the corporate sponsors. This will maintain running costs of the lodge.
