Business Success Thursday Volume 243! Are you using Feel Good Marketing with your Dream 100 clients?

Hello ??, welcome to Business Success Thursday #243!

One of my favourite marketing books is The Ultimate Sales Machine by Chet Holmes.

It is crammed full with dozens of proven strategies to boost sales and get an unfair marketing advantage over your competitors.

In his book Chet introduces a terrific concept called The Dream 100.

The Dream 100 is a list you make of 100 Dream Clients you would like to have for your business.

Chet recommends that you write down your own Dream 100 list. And then once a month send each person on your Dream 100 List a memorable direct mail message.

And you do this every month until the person dies or buys.

Chet recommended that you send something interesting and fun with each direct mail message.

You might get 100 tiny torches for instance and send them out with a fun letter that says 'are you hunting in the dark for a solution to xyz problem?

Then go on to explain how you help clients solve that problem.

And you mention how the torch might help them to hunt in the dark until they talk with you.

And every month you do something else that is fun and memorable.

In other words you are using Feel Good Marketing.

When you do something like this every single month guess what happens?

First of all every single Dream Client will know your business within 3-4 months.

Because of the interesting Feel Good Messages that you are sending out.

Secondly some of these Dream 100 Clients will actually become clients over a six to twelve month period.

The key is to send out something every month that makes people feel good.
