Business Skills for Creatives Seminar June 1, 8, 15, 22, 2024
Award-Winning Program Helps Artists and Other Creative Professionals Take Their Careers to a New Level by Training Them in the Art of Business.
Registration is now open for Business Skills for Creatives, Broward Cultural Division’s popular four-part series that empowers artists and other creative professionals with essential business knowledge designed to help them elevate their careers.? The program takes place on four consecutive Saturdays in June at Destination Sistrunk Cultural Center (1033 NW 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311) and is open all artists and creatives. Advance registration is required.
Program participants learn from industry experts and thought leaders during informative lectures, panels, and hands-on workshops covering such topics as writing compelling business plans, and creating successful marketing campaigns, to mastering the art of the sale. The series culminates with a business plan clinic and workshop hosted by the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) with Florida Atlantic University. Seminar attendees will have the ability to have their submitted business plans critiqued by the SBDC.
?Space is limited and early registration is highly encouraged.?Creatives residing in any county are welcome to attend. The $100 registration fee includes admission to the full program, light refreshments, and free parking.
