On one hand, 2020 was a tough year- unpredictable and on some days, distressing. On the other, those same experiences meant we were was pushed to grow professionally. In this time of crisis and volatility, the Terminal is helping to provide some much-needed stability to the global financial system. Now, more than ever, our clients rely on the terminal to run their businesses virtually, and our teams have not missed a boat.

Building on our theme of the year: Clients First and taking a cue from the Tokyo Olympics, we ran a global competition Analytics Olympics over a course of six-intense-weeks.

Globally, we asnwered more than 258,000 client questions and, nearly 98 per cent of the times, we got to those clients within one minute!

Furthermore, we proactively engaged with clients, demonstrating value and educating them on technology solutions to enhance their workflows.

Among a peer group of 250+ representatives in the Electronic Trading Solutions space globally, competing on key metrics like reactive and proactive touches, quality leads and sales assists, I finished the competition in second place, earning the Silver medal (YAY!). My interactions with the Indian Equity trading community have been enriching in every sense- learning from them, the nuances of the trading business. At the same time, helping clients optimize their workflows by leveraging Bloomberg trading solution including best execution, liquidity discovery and trade automation.   

We don’t know what the future holds, but we have never been more confident in our abilities to weather a storm while continuing to offer exceptional service with consistency and scale.

No one day is like the other in Analytics – there is always a new challenge or problem to solve, which makes it a demanding, but highly rewarding experience.
