BUSINESS AND RELIGION?

TOUCH

Now, where does business touch religion? And is it even relevant?

Is it provocative to offer interpretations which may not align with the mainstream scholarly consensus or the broader understanding of historical events and the incrowded interpretation of religious texts?

Or is it refreshening? Or directly unpleasant?

I believe that we need an explanation as to how come 2.3 Billion Christians, 1.8 Billion Muslims, 1.1 Billion Hindus and 0.5 Billion Buddhists - comprising 5.7 Billion of the Earth's 8 Billion human inhabitants, are still largely either themselves polluting our Earth, or, if they so prefer the victim role: even though they are the majority by almost 75% of Earth's humankind then they are permitting others letting our Earth to go down the drain (without stepping in).

It is my take, that we cannot fix the glass with the same hammer which broke it.

And while all the above religions have it in them, they have apparently not gotten each of their community members to understand the depth of the wisdom within each of their own religions.

Therefore I am taking a step outside of these religions, to take an - albeit secular - view on them, and will return into the same religions (at least the two major ones, Christianity and the Qu'ran) to point out their own scriptures for the righteous amongst each of them to begin implementing, before we all, the 5.7 billion faithfuls and the remaining atheists, and 7.9 million species of non-human nature - end up like on Mars. A dead desert, waiting for the obsoletion of the universe.

The question I am trying to address here, as a business topic, on Linked In is: How come that business has gone so much astray that it is generally speaking no more in existence for the general betterment of life on Earth, but for self-aggrandizing, selfishness, self-promotion? Yet, 75% of its participants are subscribers to either of the 4 large religions.

I think two main streams of belief can have moved large parts of the upto 2.3 billion Christians and upto 1.8 billion Muslims in a wrong direction. Jesus was forgiving people for their sins. The Catholics concurrently developed their corrupt powers to forgive sins via their priesthood. Islam has its own style of repentance, though not so different from Christianity - Tawbah as it is called. This has, in my view, caused a plethora of so-called religious people, in fact the majority of everyone I have ever met, both knowing them and just observing them, "Wash their sins with the blood of Jesus" (A term used often by Pentecostal Christians I have met), and get "Saved" - both status'es results of declarations of the same - after which they misbehave in secret, and continue doing so, because of that they have been declared saved. Muslims on their side are no exception. They are being prescribed prayers to do in the night time, and to vehemently declare their repentance and that they will avoid repeat. Indians leave it to Karma.

Karma works, in my view, this way here: Once you have forgiven someone for his misdeeds, and solemnly declared that you will not revenge, just watch the show if the guy continues after having been made aware, by you, that he or she has severely hurt you (or others). When you watch that show, (and contemporary Psychologist Jordan Peterson says that they have max 2 years), and you will see the destructive wrath of the Universe (you can call it God for all I care) tear into their sinful lives - you will understand Karma. Your forgiveness and letting go of revenge is important for the Universe/God to take over.

Indeed the Christians are washing so much so that there must be a huge market for sinks in the Christian churches. The Catholics call it Penance. And this can explain the need of 5 daily prayers for the Muslims.

Indeed I have met some of the most wonderful people, who are truly Christian in the sense of the teachings of Jesus, and I have close Muslim friends who are the epitomy of wonderful people. Common for them is that they are not their religion. They live it, but they are just simply plain good people. Family men of the best sort, so to say - that is: Not like, for instance a neighbour I used to have, who was the head of the Catholic congregation in his church, and wrote and quoted the most sacred texts to his followers on WhatsApp - only for him to endlessly on a daily basis betray his wife while going out "drinking" after work in his business, with the results that his estranged wife found all sorts of "Paraphenalia" in her husbands car, ranging from condoms to bra's, microscopic single threaded innerwears etc. - all of it as narrated by my wife who was a friend of hers. Suffice to say that his company - a plastic manufacturer - makes basins which spoils by themselves by the mere fact that they just stand on the ground - while he as a professional plastic producer knows that adding a few additives, will make his darn basins have a durability - while in use - of 40++ years. And he is a "church leader". His congregation largely consists of fornicators, integrity-lost good-lookers (for whom it is more important how they look when at church, than what they do outside of church), and wives who covers up the tracks of their husbands. Yak.

But doesn't it all hang together? Good religious and secular people have one thing in common: They have integrity. They uphold great values for the society. The individual is not as important as the community.

(Islam, as written by Mohammed between 610 CE and 632 CE, is naturally inspired by the then concurrent belief-systems, even though it is naturally distinct in its own right. Editions from same Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus can literature wise and linguistically be traced into the Qu'ran, just as Hinduism in various forms (ie. Karma) have entered into Bible - of course and inevitably so)

WASHING

These ways of "repenting" created the hoardes of self-proclaimed religious, who perpetuate cycles of misbehaving followed by the "Washing their sins via their faith in Jesus" on certain churches of the Protestant flavour, and "Repenting towards the priest" on certain churches of the Catholic flavour, and sitting praying in the wee hours of night to Allah for forgiveness. (And forgiveness is brought, as all the mentioned Gods and Allah too are merciful)...

Comedy often resonates best when it strikes a chord with the majority of the audience, creating a shared understanding or recognition of a particular situation or experience. Comedians often rely on finding common ground or shared experiences that their audience can relate to. One such comedian is the Irish satirist Dave Allen, but also British Monty Python, American George Carlin and Eddie Izzard are known for that same thing.

Comedians can only translate the contemporary Zeit Geist when it's solidly infested with sufficient laughing stock. This allows them as messengers to avoid being strangled

KARMA

God shall know that this is neither faith, nor has this got any integrity. This is, however, similar to how the major parts of business people, who misbehave, in their own ways think that they are getting away with this. But little they remember Galatians 6:7, Proverbs 22:8, the Quran's Surah Al-Imran (3:185) or Surah Al-Zilzal (99:7-8), Bhagavad Gita (Ch 2, verse 47), the Upanishads (3.14.1) and even the Vishnu Purana 1.22.44.

This therefore provides a possible secular explain-system based on the religious scriptures, which can cater for, how come such enormous amounts of human beings can run their businesses in these currently destructive ways against life on Earth and actually believe that they can get away with it. Because. Integrity and its absence is infectious. Once a man subscribe to integrity, it permeates into all of his life. And once he refuses to subscribe to integrity, also that spreads as a disease in all that he touches.

Because, if the plastic manufacturer really had followed his faith (which he and others vehemently and aggressively claim they belong to, when provoked by pointing out their proven misbehaviours), it would be unthinkable that he would produce self-destroying plastic basins for the poor, which they now must replenish every 1.5 to 3 years. But what do you expect from a fornicator, a multi-penised porcupine driven by the wrong head, a person with no integrity even in the most intimate affairs?

Therefore, likely, we here have one out of many intertwined explanations present here, of why we, [who largely claim to be Christians (2.3 billion), Muslims (1.8 billion), Hindus(1.1 billion) and Buddhists (0.5 billion), are either deliberately misinterpreting religion in life-detrimental twists when we are on our own or outright lying] are simply not at all geniunely believing the religion which we purport to follow - because the mere oral declarations vane in the gross light of fornication, the raping of poor people with dysfunctional selfdestructing products, when irresponsible men deprive their families of their care and support (by drinking half or more of the salary up in bars, and then seducing whores with the other half of their salaries), while their wives covers it all up so that it can all look good at the surface, and so they do not look like failures for having chosen that .

Or how about the opposite - those single mothers who refuse their kids to see their very own biological fathers - fathers who indeed want to be there in their kids lives - but they refuse just because of that the fathers are not as wealthy as these mothers would have liked them to be? The cases are numerous.

The former neighbour - such individuals just described above, exhibits a profound lack of responsibility, engaging in behaviors that undermine the very foundation of a committed marital relationship. Their reckless spending, indulgence in destructive habits, and neglect of their family's well-being reflect a deep-seated selfishness and an absence of moral fortitude. This person demonstrates an alarming disregard for the consequences of their actions, causing immense harm not only to their immediate family but also to their own sense of integrity. Their behavior reflects a troubling combination of addictive tendencies, irresponsibility, and an acute lack of empathy for those who rely on them. Such individuals disrupt not only the stability of their own households but also contribute to the erosion of societal values and moral fabric. It is imperative that we recognize and address these destructive patterns to foster healthier relationships and a more virtuous society.

Therefore, I do not have a religion. Many religions, qua their existence, indeed do so much good so that it is touching the heart strings. Islam has their system to take care of their poor, Catholics have organised health care systems globally. Hindu's have largely contributed to a much more peaceful world. But many are the individuals who proclaim belonginghood and who misbehave. So while one can indeed not and should indeed not (never!) judge people based on their religions, so can we not trust that someone who prescribes to a certain religion is behaving well.

I believe in the almighty God and that God is good and shall not be feared, neither shall I waste his or her time praying for selfish gains, but solely disturb his or her blissful meditative state, if I need help with something good I want to do. And prayers for forgiveness do not work. Actively changing my ways as instant as possible, when made aware that I have done wrong, is the only prayer ever needed, and working to make up for my mistakes is the only apology to the offended ever working. Nothing else is ever needed.

Therefore I believe that everything I shall ever do in business, must without failure be good for my family, my community, my village, my country, and the world as such. Good here means: For all life forms.

YOU?

How do these things occur to you? How does your business community behave? Let's say you are in retail, a carpenter, an office clerk, a boss, a business owner. 85% of my Danish tribe have at least one extra marital affair within 10 years, not something to be proud of. How does this occur in your community? In your own home? Does your business do good things, or are you releasing chemicals in the nearest river or producing shitty products which spoils and maintains your customers in a replenishment relationship? Do you treat your workers well?

Well. Time to repent...

In these pronouns times, I will indeed not want to stand out without pronous, so..

Best regards

Beautifully dissected! In some areas, we have truly messed up big time as the human race.As long as we keep society largely a meritocracy, I think we will be in safe hands. What with thought leaders who are able to so surgically dissect societal ills with such a refreshing combination of wit and tact?Given our collective ability to contain and quarantine the malevolent forces of society, which I believe we have done well to a remarkable degree, we should be in good hands. The Bible says perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4: 18), and that includes love for our neighbour just as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37–39).
