Chili and Corn Bread Recipe


CORN BREAD:


Use Marie Callender’s ready-made packet of Corn Brad Mix. Instead of all water as the package indicates, crack two raw eggs into a measuring cup and fill with less water to the specification on the package.

Add: A pinch of cinnamon.

A double pinch of Brown Sugar.

A can of fully drained Sweet Corn.

Cook as otherwise directed on the package.


CHILI:


One large carton of Low Sodium Beef Broth.

One or two large cans of Tomatoe-Paste (final thickness of Chili is up to the cook).

One can of chopped – finely cubed Tomatoes.

One packet of “Mild” Chili Seasoning.

One tablespoon of Butter.

One heavy Pinch of Cilantro Seasoning.

One large White Onion diced fine.

Add Garlic Powder to your taste.

One or two large Bell Peppers (any color) finely chopped.

One package of cubed Beef Stew Meat.


Let simmer for at least 4 hours or longer so the ingredients will marry each other, and the Stew Meat becomes super tender.


If your Chili turns out too salty for you, add some Lime Juice to tame it down. Place cooked Corn Bread in large bowl and scoop Chili over the top as desired.
