PFAS RELATED CORPORATE NEWS FROM SEC FILINGS DURING THE LAST WEEK
BIOLARGO Inc. reports the first successful installation of their PFAS fighting technology in New Jersey and expressions of interest from other potential customers ranging from small municipal wastewater treatment plants to the Air Force. Their chief bottleneck for additional business is hiring more qualified staff.
[Their entire PFAS discussion is worth reading to get a good overview of the PFAS water marketplace in the US. In addition, I know that a few of you with an engineering/sales business development background are looking for new jobs; it probably would be worthwhile to get in touch with the people at BIOLARGO].
IMMUCELL CORP warns that the recently enacted state of Maine PFAS regulatory regulations requiring reporting of PFAS and a phased ban of 'intentionally added PFAS' will adversely affect their business position by limiting access to suppliers and potential customers. Their corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in Maine.
TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc is investigating if their flagship product, SteraMist can play a role in controlling the environmental impact from PFAS chemicals and if so, how large the market might be.

IN SITU REMOVAL OF SURFACE-ACTIVE COMPOUNDS FROM WATER Brief Summary:? Method for in situ removal of a surface-active compound, such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), from groundwater are described. A trench is prepared that is arranged to capture groundwater flow. A diffuser is placed in the trench. The trench is backfilled with a permeable, inert solid to an elevation below ground elevation. A platform that floats on water is placed within the trench.?
