The business of music games

The business of music games

Not sure how many of you know my love and passion for #music . I've been playing since I was 6. First a saxophone, then a bit of drum & guitar, eventually landed on the piano world. I've been working in #data #technology for #marketing & #advertising for almost 2 decades. Recently I also discovered very interesting music #games and started playing some of those. My profession eventually brought me closer to the #business side of it and here is a work i independently carried out. This is an #analysis of music games, having Amanotes as the central piece (being one of the top publishers in the category). This work shows the approach to #competitiveanalysis #weaknesses #differentiaion. By analysing the key players in the category, i found many very interesting aspects (more or less common) that could be easily leveraged by any game publishers: from a marketing approach, to #customercare, passing by #datamonetisation, #mechanic of the game, etc... Feel free to check it out (especially the #CONCLUSIONS section) & if you have any specific questions or you are interested in ad hoc #consultancy, please get in touch. #Gismart #musictech #musicbusiness #musicgames #mobilegames #pianomusic #androidgames #AppAnnie #subscriptions #businessmodel #merchandising #education #makeitrelevant

I find it fascinating how close music and math are related. In the end it all comes down to ratios. So I can see your love for both fields. And thanks for the analysis.
