In Business Member Spotlight with Daniel Condren of One Mortgage and Protection.

At In Business we like to get to know our members, Daniel Condren joined us a little while ago and we soon realised that he understood the concept of networking and knew he would be one of our valued members.

He is lively and very enthusiastic, he is also very knowledgeable about his business of offering mortgages. A chat with Daniel will fill you with the confidence to make that investment in a rental property that you have been thinking about for a while but unsure as to whether to take the plunge or he will help you to re-mortgage saving you hundreds of pounds. Myself and business partner Robert Kewley

Why did you start the business?

We knew we had enough experience to make a difference and offer a fresh new service in an old and dated market. 

Tell us what you do and how you do it?

We take the stress and time out of finding the best mortgage deal while receiving the best advice standards. 

What makes your business stand out from the competition?

Our willingness to help and the speed we act to make things happen. Our average application to mortgage offer is within a week. 

What are the main strengths of your business?

Having a large enough team to deal with higher levels of business while still giving the best customer experience. 

What are the values that drive your business?

Customer satisfaction through exceeding expectations of our clients and expanding the business levels by helping more people find the right mortgage. 

What is the most valuable lesson you have learnt through experience?

Do what you say when you say you would - There is nothing worse than being promised the world then not to hear anything. 

Which business successes are you most proud of?

Being a business owner and an employer

Tell us something you do that's not business related.

I am a huge American sports fan, in particular basketball is a big part of my life. I currently play, coach and referee in local Yorkshire league.
