Business & Life tips for handling Couples Dynamics

Business & Life tips for handling Couples Dynamics

This week's newsletter focuses on the layers that make up our identity. Its not just our archetypes, values, or personalities, it's many layers. Some are innate, others are learned and many come from our environment, especially the one we grew up in.

I have spent nearly 20 years studying human behaviour and what makes us tick. I have learnt from the masters, identified the best of breed (in my experience) and put them together to create Identity Compasses that are unique to each individual. As one of these masters Dr. John Demartini says, if two people were exactly the same, one would be obsolete. That is why invariably we are attracted to our opposites.

I offer a FREE session of about 45 minutes where I help individuals and couples start to explore their own Identity Compass which, if used effectively will guide them towards their True North. These sessions can be booked HERE.

In a quaint village, lived Elara, a creative artist, and Alden, a meticulous planner. Elara was known for her vibrant paintings, while Alden was revered for his precision as the village accountant. Despite their differing views, their approach to their own lives they had developed a deep friendship borne from trust.

Faced with a harsh winter that strained the village's resources, Elara suggested hosting an art exhibition to attract visitors and boost the economy. However, she struggled with organising the event. Alden saw potential in her idea and offered his skills to complement her creativity.

Together, they organised the exhibition, combining Elara’s artistic vision with Alden’s strategic planning and attention to the details. The event was a huge success, drawing large crowds and revitalising the village. It showcased the power of their collaboration, blending imagination with practicality to achieve a common goal.

This partnership taught the village the value of embracing differences. Elara and Alden’s successful collaboration highlighted how diverse perspectives could lead to greater achievements. Their story became a testament to the strength found in unity and the importance of respecting and combining individual strengths for the community's benefit.

It is the same when couples celebrate their differences and not see them as obstacles or one is right and the other is wrong. Where it is running a business together, building a life by design or moving into a new (ad)venture after retirement.

Build your own unique Identity Compass to bring the unconscious to the conscious level and understand who you really are. This will help you make better decisions, direct your life towards what you like to do best to capitalise on this, and most of all appreciate that where others differ from you, it is just they have a different Identity to you, there are no right or wrong answers.

In our fast-paced and ever-changing world, knowing who you are and what you stand for makes all the difference. This is where the idea of an "identity compass" comes into play, acting as a personal guide through life's twists and turns but still following your North Star. Drawing insights from experts like Dr. John Demartini and Rory Kilmartin, and blending in concepts from wealth dynamics and personality profiling, we can see why understanding our core values and identity is so crucial.

Dr. John Demartini teaches us that living in tune with our highest values not only brings clarity and focus but also fills our lives with purpose and passion. It's about aligning what we do with what we truly value, ensuring every step we take is a step toward our true desires.

Rory Kilmartin's exploration of archetypes helps us dive deeper into who we are. By figuring out which archetype resonates with us, we can unlock our strengths and navigate our relationships more effectively, bringing a sense of harmony and understanding to our interactions.

Wealth dynamics offer a fascinating lens to view our professional lives through, emphasizing the power of playing to our strengths. Knowing where our natural talents lie helps us carve out a path that not only feels right but is also primed for success.

Principles like integrity and compassion aren't just moral high grounds; they're the bedrock of our interactions and decisions. They shape how we connect with the world and leave a mark on the people around us.

Lastly (for this article at least), understanding our human needs—from the need for security to the need for growth and contribution—ensures we're leading a balanced and fulfilling life. It's about meeting these needs in a way that's true to us.

Everyone should have an understanding of themselves that translates into an identity compass, it is more than just a tool for navigating life and business. It's about creating a life that's not just successful on the outside but deeply fulfilling on the inside. Taking the time for self-reflection and discovery is not just rewarding; it's essential for anyone looking to lead a life that's both authentic and aligned with their deepest aspirations.

Here's to finding your compass and charting your unique path! And I can start you on this journey. You can either set up a FREE 45-minute session HERE or take an Assessment about your personality https://bit.ly/PPAssessment

Not much to report this week. I have been spending quite a bit of time with a company that is buying businesses. I have also booked my flight home to the UK - yeah! Although it is hard to leave the warm weather of Queensland, Australia.

I did get an article published in the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce magazine
