Early research by Training For Business shows bullying to be a serious and common problem in British companies. The risks to corporate reputation are equally serious as is the financial risk exposure. Total settlement costs are commonly running to six digits.? Where the situation gets further complicated is if there is evidence of an offence under the 2010 Equality Act; such an instance can move a case from being a civil matter to a criminal matter.?? Training For Business is very pleased to be working with a City law firm to design products that protect company reputations, exit bullying executives discreetly and save the career prospects of the victims. Prevention is undoubtedly better than the remedies. Watch this space. ?
