1) Don't miss the Norfolk B2B - Thursday 17 October

3) Turn your old laptops into gifts for local people in need

4) Human Rights Lawyer to give Norfolk Community Law Service lecture

Baroness Shami Chakrabarti will visit Norwich on Thursday 28 November to give this year’s Norfolk Community Law Service lecture. She will discuss human rights, why they matter and how they are being endangered. The event, sponsored by Birketts LLP and the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society will be hosted at in The Pantry Restaurant at Jarrolds - booking essential: NCLS’s annual law lecture, Thu, Nov 28, 2024 at 5:30 PM.

5) Building your Business - support in South Norfolk and Broadland

6) Massive investment commitments in renewable energy announced

Leading energy companies have announced more than £24bn in new investment into clean energy power generation in the UK. This includes some £1.3bn for Island Green Power, which has submitted plans for two new solar farms in Norfolk: Green energy firms promise more than £24bn of new investment in Britain | The Guardian.

7) Breaking ground for new Norfolk Food Hall

On Friday 11 October 2024, the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association officially broke ground on its Norfolk Food Hall project. This new retail space, spanning more than 3000sqft, will feature a 120-seat restaurant and a café with outdoor seating for up to 80 people.
