Business English coach - helping Spanish-speaking business professionals to overcome their fears and communicate their message with confidence and clarity in English ?? ???????????? your business English potential
It's Friday again! Can you believe it? It comes around so fast!
This week has been a busy one for me! Not only have I?been helping a lot of different business professionals?with their business English?- from CEO's to?angel investors to?engineers, but it was also the first week of my Communicate with Confidence coaching program ?
We have a lovely group of people and I'm really looking forward to getting to know them better during the 12-week program, as well as helping them to gain the confidence and fluency they need to communicate effectively in business English?(it's still not too late to join us - click here to see the program and sign up )
In my newsletter today - business English vocabulary!?
-----------------
One of the the most common things I hear from my coachees is "I don't have enough vocabulary" or other words to that effect.
Now, sometimes this is real and sometimes it's just perceived. However, at the end of the day, we need vocabulary to be able to understand and express what we want to express.
-----------------
Let me give you a taster of some of the expressions which came up this week in my coaching sessions...
"?????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ?????? ????! " - meaning that time passes really quickly! This is a real compliment for me as it means this person was fully enagaged and enjoying the session!

"???? ?????????? ?????? ???? ?????????? " - both parties involved in a situation or argument are equally responsible for it. This was used in the context of communication and misunderstandings. Good communication requires two parties working together!
"Our senior managers are visiting our office so we'll have ???? ???????? ?????? ?????? ?????? ???????????? ?????? ???????? !" - to give someone a special welcome and treat them very well.
"One of my team raised the red flag about this issue" - when you give?a warning of a bad or dangerous situation or event.
----------------
The BEST way to remember this new vocabulary is to use it as soon as possible!
This may mean you have to force it into the conversation. However, if you use it in a real-life context you will be MUCH more likely to remember it!
Think about when you could use these expressions and use them!
