Entrepreneurial Ecosystems - Dr Haneul Choi secures British Academy's Innovation Fellowship Scheme for upcoming research

Dr Haneul Choi, recipient of the prestigious BA Innovation Fellowship, embarks on research aimed at unraveling the intricacies of academic entrepreneurship. With a keen focus on external non-academic venture builders, Dr Choi's study seeks to bridge a significant gap in existing literature.

By exploring experiences and perspectives of non-academic actors collaborating with university counterparts in commercialising technology, she aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the academic entrepreneurship landscape. Through a series of interviews with both local academic and non-academic stakeholders, Dr Choi endeavors to shed light on the challenges and opportunities encountered by venture builders in this fast-paced world.

ARTiD (Artificial Intelligence for Dementia) workshop

Date: 25th March 2024, 9am - 5pm

Location: Lady Hale Moot Courtroom, University of Bristol

Join the Artificial Intelligence for Dementia (ARTiD) team for a full-day interdisciplinary workshop addressing current challenges, limitations, and perspectives of intelligent detection for neurodegenerative diseases. The workshop aims to generate a map of needs for developing a digital platform for non-clinical remote neurodegeneration tracking and recognition. Discussions will include specifications required for a digital platform, tractability of different data modalities, and digital interfaces that would best capture incremental change in such data.

Hot food and refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and travel costs for all attendees will be covered.
