Engaging your audience through campaigns.E.g. when Dominos used twitter for their "lets do lunch" campaign they offered a big pizza price reduction for customers who tweeted within lunchtime to keep customers happy and engaged.

Motivating your audience to take action.E.g. when Nike did the “Fuel your team" campaign they took a range of products and linked it to their fuelband.A fuelband is an activity tracker which allows you to set goals and complete with others, with this comes a mobile app which allows you to post all these things on social media, by the end of the campaign Nike were able to make their audience take action all under the name of exercising.

Spending efficiently and how brands spend less but still reach out to a bigger number of people. E.g. headphone manufacturer beats by dr.Dre who used a selfie campaign .In their campaign they used a call to action. A call to action is actually a message that encourages your audience to act immediately, what he asked is to post a video selfie by audience on twitter and instagram with the hashtag #soloselfie with that they were able to create a buzz and get their audience engaged.

Creating a return on your investment. By that we mean increasing the money, which we initially invested for these campaigns.

In short, the role of digital marketing in supporting business has gone viral. The switching from traditional to the digital world and digital marketing is now driven by marketing agencies, business owners and consumers alike all across the world ,hence , the striving of businesses to grow their brands globally has become a possible dream with the existence of the digital world
