Bringing professionals together in a global community, one accreditation at a time!
It's day forty and today we are proud to feature one of our Premier Charity Partners.
David Alan Taylor set up the charity in 2014 following the sad passing in 2010 of his oldest daughter following a short battle against brain cancer. Sue was just 42 years old and left behind a son and daughter of just 10 and 12 respectively.
Since the birth of the charity David and his team of fund raisers have raised over £275,000 and with a target of One Million they continue to press on doing wonderful fund raising events that have included David and is wife Kathleen skydiving in recent years, all at the tender age of just 78 and 80 years of age!
Brain Cancer is one of the biggest killers in young people and with just 1% of funding being earmarked to this type of cancer by the main bodies, all funds raised through In Sue's Name, add valued support to gain an understanding of this illness, along with important research that is required to find cures and support to those sadly having to deal with devastating and debilitating illness.
The Month of March they are embarking on a fundraising campaign called the 'Walk of Hope' a great way to keep fit throughout March whilst doing something for this fabulous cause! You will be set a target to walk each day and with each step, you will be raising through your sponsors the chance to contribute to the funding they need. The aim is to get sponsorship of just £100.00 in total from each person completing the Walk of Hope Campaign. With over 100 people already signed up the potential target is growing rapidly. There is still time to register by clicking on the link below and getting in contact with David directly.
As a Premier Charity Partner, In Sue's Name comes to you vetted and verified, along with the acknowledgement of our Badge of Trust, that has been proudly pinned to this wonderful charity organisation.
