The Business Case for Board Leadership and Governance Training

Developing responsible leaders to inspire Africa's growth
Organisations need a clear vision to succeed. The board of directors is expected to provide guidance in charting a clear vision for the organisation. Failure by boards to provide leadership, especially when the organization faces an uncertain future or operates in a fast-changing environment may lead to disaster.
I read somewhere that Boards that lead well, know when to take charge; when to partner with management; and when to stay out of the way. This is true and consistent with my belief that great companies are led by great boards.
As a trained IFC corporate governance board leadership toolkit trainer, I am currently reaching out to key stakeholders across the world for strategic partnership in the area of board leadership and governance training across Africa. My message is that a strong commitment to Board Development and Sustainability will enhance Shareholder Value.
