SEEDL
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has launched a new learning solution, providing all Basingstoke and Deane businesses and employees access to unlimited free learning on a range of courses.??
The council, in partnership with SEEDL , now provides over 200 virtual courses on a variety of subjects which can be accessed at any time.??
April is Stress Awareness Month and SEEDL is offering a range of courses to prevent, overcome and understand stress.?

Inspire Business Awards - finalists announced
Inspire Business Awards has unveiled its full list of finalists for each category. Congratulations to all businesses that have been shortlisted.?
The awards evening will take place on Thursday 11 July at Oakley Hall, where the winners will be announced.?

Changes to Apprenticeship Funding
The government has recently announced new apprenticeship measures:

Since Monday?1 April, SME employers who do not pay the levy no longer have to contribute to the cost of apprenticeship training for 16 to 21-year-olds. Government is fully funding the training costs for these individuals.
From Saturday 6 April, levy-paying employers can transfer up to 50% of their funds to support apprenticeships in other businesses, double the current 25%.

Festival Place announce S?strene Grene?
Danish homeware brand S?strene Grene is set make its Hampshire debut at Festival Place Basingstoke shopping centre when it opens later this year.?
The retailer will offer a range of Scandinavian-inspired furniture, soft furnishings, textiles, and kitchenware, as well as art supplies, stationery, children’s toys, and occasion-based accessories.
