As a physician, the COVID experience revealed way more than I wanted to learn about our failing healthcare system. This article is worth a serious read.https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/05/opinion/doctors-universal-health-care.html

Personally I have never joined the AMA because of their opposition to universal healthcare. The bloom is definitely off the rose on the privatized fragmented model we are now emmeshed in. Thoughts welcome!!
