There’s a difference between burnout and moral injury. That feeling of exhaustion at work may not be as simple as chronic stress. In some instances, it could be a conflict between one’s own moral compass, and what is required for the job—an issue that’s important for leadership to address.?

To improve teamwork, take a tip from Socrates. The ancient Greek concept of dialectic, or a back-and-forth exchange between people with differing viewpoints, has been shown to not just generate more ideas in the workplace, but also leads to more creative ones.?
