4 个月While it is always about being stuck in that “fight or flight” anxiety mode, burnout isn’t always about actually protecting yourself from danger. Sometimes it’s just about being over worked, being micro-managed, correcting other people’s mistakes over and over, not having a supportive manager or team, being short-staffed, relentless deadlines, etc. You can’t take a break and it’s not because of a perceived need to keep working without one, but an actual need to keep working without one.

4 个月Many people I have worked or met close to burnout think there is a race… this isn’t a race so there is nothing to win!! If they can’t slow down perhaps finding ways to be more productive can help.
